Join us for a special evening menu to celebrate the museum's 5th birthday!

After being crowned winner of BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals in 2014, Jamie established his restaurant, The Newport, in 2016 alongside his wife, Kelly. Within days of opening, the restaurant became a hotspot for diners both local and afar and was quickly awarded two AA rosettes and a place in The Michelin Guide.

The opening of artisan bakery, The Newport Bakery, followed to great acclaim and the team have since opened a further two outlets in Dundee and St Andrews.

The cooking style in his restaurant and bakery remains true to his zero-waste ethos and he creates his menus around the best available seasonal produce, working with suppliers he knows and trusts. Using classic recipes and pairing them with modern techniques, Jamie’s menu showcases the bountiful larder from the surrounding areas.

We’re delighted to be joined by a selection of our local suppliers, who will each introduce a dish from the menu and talk about their produce.
