Recycled denim oversized tote bag by The Revival

This bag was made by THE REVIVAL in collaboration with the V&A, out of fabric rescued from landfill, beaches, and Kantamanto, the largest second-hand clothing market in West Africa. Denim is the most common fabric found at these sources. 

THE REVIVAL is a community-led, sustainable, non-profit organisation creating awareness, art, and jobs with upcycled global textile waste coming to Ghana. They turn much of this textile waste into protective workwear for local farmers. 

This project gives new life to fabric which would otherwise be discarded. THE REVIVAL invites us to cherish this bag as a piece of wearable art and reflect on the impact of clothing waste across the globe.

This oversized tote with deep base, makes very easy to carry larger items. It is very capacious and provided with inner pocket to contain your smaller items. It has long handles for ease of carrying over the shoulder.
