Join artist and designer Silvia Ospina to explore the endless possibilities of digital design in textiles inspired by the V&A Fashion Collection. Following a step-by-step guide you will learn the fundamentals of creating patterns by combining traditional hand-painted techniques with digital tools.
You will start by sketching your motifs with pens and markers and then Silvia will guide you to turn your motifs into a seamless repeating pattern using a simple tool on our iPads.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have designed a unique digital pattern and produce your own files ready to print on fabric.
All materials including iPads and the illustration application Procreate provided. Suitable for beginners and limited to 16 attendees. Attendees must be 18+
