The artwork featured on this organic cotton t-shirt is adapted from a design for a woven silk from the Leman Album, produced in about 1706-1707 by James Leman and held in the V&A archive. Leman (1688-1745) was a master weaver, designer and prominent member of the Spitalfields silk industry in London's East End.
Exclusively made for the V&A.
