This hand-made, Fairtrade decoration has been created exclusively for the V&A, reflecting the design of Queen Victoria’s sapphire and diamond coronet. The coronet was designed for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert, and she wore it throughout her reign, symbolising their enduring love. The coronet has become part of the permanent display in the newly refurbished Jewellery Gallery this year, to mark the 200th anniversary of the births of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
