This magnet features a bògòlanfini wrapper design held in the V&A archive. Taking its name from the Mandé word for mud cloth, bògòlanfini is a discharge-dyed textile made by a number of peoples in Mali and Burkina Faso but most associated with the Bamana of Mali.
